Cedar Points main attraction for 2016 was the Valravn. The biggest baddest B&M Dive Coaster.
So meaning that the lines were long I only got to ride this roller coaster once. But waiting for the ride was the worst part as I had to stand in the heat drinking lots of water. But Just by looking at this ride makes you think this is gonna be one incredible Coaster! When I rode it, I was in the front car off to the left side. My expectations set weren't to high because I've ridden Sheikra at Busch Gardens Tampa. So Considered that this Dive Coaster was 23 feet higher and 5 mph faster than Sheikra, I was excited. As with all dive coasters, The first drop is the best part of the ride in my opinion. But the first drop isn't enough for me. The ride is followed with 3 inversions and another steep drop at around 80 degrees. So did size and speed beat Sheikra? The answer is Yes! However the ride lacks any theme scenery to it. The landscaping is fine, but there is no Water scoops and Tunnels like Sheikra. But I really enjoyed Valravn. And Considering it's dive coaster records, this is probably the best dive coaster in my opinion.
